All personnel working as Public Address Announcers must remember that each District 52 Tournament game is to be treated as a game played at a neutral site. No type of favoritism, unsportsmanlike or unbecoming behavior is to be exhibited or encouraged by the Public Address Announcer. Do not use the PA while the ball is in play, or when the pitcher is about to pitch the ball. Music is only permitted between half-innings, and should be at a moderate volume. Do not use the PA System as a personal open mic for their own amusement or agenda, and do not do “color commentary” or “play-by-play” announcing like they do on TV.
