Little League fun, developmental, competative and recreational baseball does not need to end at age 12! D52 operates divisions for kids baseball ages 13-16 who have completed Majors. In these divisions, teams from different leagues across the district play against each other. These divisions offer traditional rules baseball, including lead-offs, unlimited steals, pick-offs and balks.
We offer three unique divisions:
This division is aimed at players in middle school whose baseball age is 13 or 14. Age 12 or 15 players also permitted with board approval. This division features a mid-sized field (80’ bases, 54’ pitching, same as travel-ball for 13u) which fits this age group. This size makes for a dynamic game, and is a great stepping stone to the full-sized field. Most Juniors teams play a schedule very similar to Majors running from March to early June with games across the district twice a week. Other opions are available for teams who don't want a full schedule. Teams will be divided into three divisions based on skill level so most games will be competative. The season ens with a championship tournament. For players selected there are 13u and 14u all-star tournaments in June both of which culminate in an International Little League World Series just like Majors.
We expect over 20 teams in this division, which means a lot of different opponents to play.
This division is aimed at players whose are in 8th grade and preparing for high school baseball, or are otherwise ready for the full size field and ready to be challenged against strong competition. This division is new in 2026. Players can be age 13 - 15. We expect about 6 teams, and play within the district and also games against other districts around the bay area. There will be a championship tournament to end the season. These teams will be targetting the 14u all-star tournament, though any 13 year olds will qualify for play in the 13u tournament if they wish, and any 15 year olds will qualify for the 16u tournament if the league enters a team.
This division is aimed at player in high school, and s open to those playing on the high school team and who are not. The regular season is shorter than a traditional Little League season running only in May and June, starting after the high school JV season ends. Games will feature teams from around the bay area.
Teams can also enter the 16u all-star tournament. Unlike Juniors and below, regular season play is not required to enter all-stars. League can form teams solely for the all-star tournament.
What is great about these divisions is how much growth occurs. We have room for players of all skill levels, and may find they have grown since Majors and are able to compete at a higher level in these programs. Players can also supplement their other baseball programs and still have fun with friends, and play for their local league.
If you are focused on other sports or activities, but aren't ready to stop playing baseball, you will find opportunities here!
If you are playing in a select "academy/travel" program, and getting good training, but not getting much game time or not getting to play your favorite positions, you can get that with us!
If you are a star player looking for more fun with friends, or take one more swing at a Little L eague World Series, we are here for you!
Sign up with your local league. If a league does not have enough players to field a team, they will combine with neighboring leagues. If they don’t have these divisions open, you can reach out to the local board, sign up with a neighboring league or contact D52. We will do everything possible to place every athlete who signs up on a team!
