NEW SITE!
When you win an all-star tournament you will be given a flag to fly at your field to honor your victory. We encourage you to find a place to display these flags during special events such as opening day, championship games, and when you host tournaments. Several leagues have gotten their cities to install flagpoles at their Majors field for this purpose.
However, you will quickly find that the flags do not last long out in the weather, so you might be looking to replace a flag, or to install a more permanent fixture at your field. If you want to order older flags, we have records of when you won various titles.
Option 1: Re-order from Little League
You can go to shoplittleleague.org and re-order your flags. They run about $75 each. They also offer vinyl banners which may hold up better, but I’ve never seen one. You can also order small versions of the flags here which can make great gifts for just $20 too.
Option 2: Make a flag or banner locally
Many businesses will be able to make flags for you for less, especially if you need to re-order a bunch of them. D52 has Adobe Illustrator template files for replacement flags, which are linked below. It’s very easy to open these files and change the templates. If you don’t have access to Adobe Illustrator, many shops can do the customization for you and since it’s so simple they will likely not charge for this.
We have a regular flag template, and a template for a flag where the play and coaches names have been added.
We have had good luck with Judy’s Flag City in Belmont for flags, and you can also use any sign company such as Fast Signs for vinyl banners which work well on your fences.
Option 3: Make a permanent plaque
Another way to honor the winning teams is to make a permanent sign with the players' names on it and place it somewhere permanent like a score tower or the back of a dugout at your Majors field. You can use the flag templates for this, or we also have a custom template designed for this purpose which was originally created for Belmont/Redwood Shores for their score tower. So many times I see younger kids looking at the signs and talking about the players - I think it acts as inspiration for them to try and make an all-star team and get on “the wall”.
Many shops can make metal signs suitable for this purpose. One such shop is A52 Signs and Graphics.
These are the source files which can be used as a template. Use the files in the below zip archive, not the images on the page which are not suitable for editing.
